Let f : X .仺 Y be a holomorphic map of complex manifolds, which is proper, K丯ahler, and surjective with connected fibers, and which is smooth over Y \ Z the complement of an analytic subset Z. Let E be a Nakano semi-positive vector bundle on X. In our previous paper, we discussed the Nakano semi-positivity of Rqf(KX/Y . E) for q . 0 with respect to the so-called Hodge metric, when the map f is smooth. Here we discuss the extension of the induced metric on the tautological line bundle O(1) on the projective space bundle P(Rqf(KX/Y . E)) 乬over Y \ Z乭 as a singular Hermitian metric with semi-positive curvature 乬over Y 乭. As a particular consequence, if Y is projective, Rqf(KX/Y . E) is weakly positive over Y \ Z in the sense of Viehweg.

We construct many self-similar and translating solitons for Lagrangian mean curvature flow, including self-expanders and translating solitons with arbitrarily small oscillation on the Lagrangian angle. Our translating solitons play the same role as cigar solitons in Ricci flow, and are important in studying the regularity of Lagrangian mean curvature flow. Given two transverse Lagrangian planes Rn in Cn with sum of characteristic angles less than π, we show there exists a Lagrangian self-expander asymptotic to this pair of planes. The Maslov class of these self-expanders is zero. Thus they can serve as local models for surgeries on Lagrangian mean curvature flow. Families of self-shrinkers and self-expanders with different topologies are also constructed. This paper generalizes the work of Anciaux [1], Joyce [12], Lawlor [15], and Lee and Wang [18, 19].

We prove that the higher harmonic signature of an even dimensional oriented Riemannian foliation F of a compact Riemannian manifold M with coefficients in a leafwise U(p, q)-flat complex bundle is a leafwise homotopy invariant. We also prove the leafwise homotopy invariance of the twisted higher Betti classes. Consequences for the Novikov conjecture for foliations and for groups are investigated.

We define the quantum correction of the Teichmller space \mathcal {T} of Calabi-Yau manifolds. Under the assumption of no weak quantum correction, we prove that the Teichmller space \mathcal {T} is a locally symmetric space with the Weil-Petersson metric. For Calabi-Yau threefolds, we show that no strong quantum correction is equivalent to that, with the Hodge metric, the image \mathcal {T} of the Teichmller space \mathcal {T} under the period map \mathcal {T} is an open submanifold of a globally Hermitian symmetric space \mathcal {T} of the same dimension as \mathcal {T} . Finally, for Hyperkhler manifold of dimension \mathcal {T} , we find both locally and globally defined families of \mathcal {T} and \mathcal {T} -classes over the Teichmller space of polarized Hyperkhler manifolds.

We derive a gradient estimate for positive functions, in particular for positive solutions to the heat equation, on finite or locally finite graphs. Unlike the well known Li-Yau estimate, which is based on the maximum principle, our estimate follows from the graph structure of the gradient form and the Laplacian operator. Though our assumption on graphs is slightly stronger than that of Bauer et al. (J Differ Geom 99:359–405, 2015), our estimate can be easily applied to nonlinear differential equations, as well as differential inequalities. As applications, we estimate the greatest lower bound of Cheng’s eigenvalue and an upper bound of the minimal heat kernel, which is recently studied by Bauer et al. (Preprint, 2015) by the Li-Yau estimate. Moreover, generalizing an earlier result of Lin and Yau (Math Res Lett 17:343–356, 2010), we derive a lower bound of nonzero eigenvalues by our gradient estimate.
