We discuss resonances for Schrdinger operators on metric graphs which consists of a finite compact part and a finite number of halflines attached to it; the vertex coupling is assumed to be of the 6-type or certain modifications of it. Using exterior complex scaling on the graph we show that the resolvent and scattering resonances coincide in this case.

A construction of conservation laws for -models in two dimensions is generalized in the framework of noncommutative geometry of commutative algebras. This is done by replacing theordinary calculus of differential forms with other differentialcalculi and introducing an analogue of the Hodge operator on thelatter. The general method is illustrated with several examples.

We analyze the transport properties of a set of symmetry-breaking extensions of the ChirikovTaylor Map. The spatial and temporal asymmetries result in the loss of periodicity in momentum direction in the phase space dynamics, enabling the asymmetric diffusion which is the origin of the unidirectional motion. The simplicity of the model makes the calculation of the global dynamical properties of the system feasible both in phase space and in controlling-parameter space. We present the results of numerical experiments which show the intricate dependence of the asymmetric diffusion to the controlling parameters.

We consider a pair of straight adjacent quantum waveguides of constant, and in general different widths. These waveguides are coupled laterally by a pair of windows in the common boundary, not necessarily of the same length, at a distance 2l. The Hamiltonian is the respective Dirichlet Laplacian. We analyze the asymptotic behavior of the discrete spectrum as the window distance tends to infinity for the generic case, i.e., for eigenvalues of the corresponding one-window problems separated from the threshold.

We study asymptotical behaviour of resonances for a quantum graph consisting of a finite internal part and external leads placed into a magnetic field, in particular, the question whether their number follows the Weyl law. We prove that the presence of a magnetic field cannot change a non-Weyl asymptotics into a Weyl one and vice versa. On the other hand, we present examples demonstrating that for some non-Weyl graphs the effective size of the graph, and therefore the resonance asymptotics, can be affected by the magnetic field.
