In this article we propose a geometric description of Arthur packets for p-adic groups using vanishing cycles of perverse sheaves. Our approach is inspired by the 1992 book by Adams, Barbasch and Vogan on the Langlands classification of admissible representations of real groups and follows the direction indicated by Vogan in his 1993 paper on the Langlands correspondence. Using vanishing cycles, we introduce and study a functor from the category of equivariant perverse sheaves on the moduli space of certain Langlands parameters to local systems on the regular part of the conormal bundle for this variety. In this article we establish the main properties of this functor and show that it plays the role of microlocalization in the work of Adams, Barbasch and Vogan. We use this to define ABV-packets for pure rational forms of p-adic groups and propose a geometric description of the transfer coefficients that appear in Arthur's main local result in the endoscopic classification of representations. This article includes conjectures modelled on Vogan's work, especially the prediction that Arthur packets are ABV-packets for p-adic groups. We gather evidence for these conjectures by verifying them in numerous examples.

We construct a smooth Artin stack parameterizing the stable weighted curves of genus one with twisted fields and prove that it is isomorphic to the blowup stack of the moduli of genus one weighted curves studied by Hu and Li. This leads to a blowup-free construction of Vakil-Zinger's desingularization of the moduli of genus one stable maps to projective spaces. This construction provides the cornerstone of the theory of stacks with twisted fields, which is thoroughly studied in arXiv:2005.03384 and leads to a blowup-free resolution of the stable map moduli of genus two.

Abstract Kontsevich and Soibelman defined DonaldsonThomas invariants of a 3d CalabiYau category equipped with a stability condition [41]. Any cluster variety gives rise to a family of such categories. Their DT invariants are encapsulated in a single formal automorphism of the cluster variety, called the DT-transformation. Given a stability condition, the DT-transformation allows to recover the DT-invariants. Let S be an oriented surface with punctures and a finite number of special points on the boundary, considered modulo isotopy. It gives rise to a moduli space X P G L m, S, closely related to the moduli space of P G L m-local systems on S, which carries a canonical cluster Poisson variety structure [13]. For each puncture of S, there is a birational Weyl group action on the space X P G L m, S. We prove that it is given by cluster Poisson transformations. Let $(V, 0)$ be an isolated hypersurface singularity defined by the holomorphic function $f: (\mathbb{C}^n, 0)\rightarrow (\mathbb{C}, 0)$. In our previous work, we introduced a series of novel Lie algebras associated to $(V,0)$, i.e., $k$-th Yau algebra $L^k(V), k\geq 0$. It was defined to be the Lie algebra of derivations of the $k$-th moduli algebras $A^k(V)= \mathcal{O}_n/(f, m^k J(f)), k\geq 0$, where $m$ is the maximal ideal of $\mathcal{O}_n$. I.e., $L^k(V):=\text{Der}(A^k(V), A^k(V))$. The dimension of $L^k(V)$ was denoted by $\lambda^k(V)$. The number $\lambda^k(V)$, which was called $k$-th Yau number, is a subtle numerical analytic invariant of $(V, 0)$. Furthermore, we formulated two conjectures for these $k$-th Yau number invariants: a sharp upper estimate conjecture of $\lambda^k(V)$ for weighted homogeneous isolated hypersurface singularities (see Conjecture \ref{conj2}) and an inequality conjecture $\lambda^{(k+1)}(V) > \lambda^k(V), k\geq0$ (see Conjecture \ref{conj1}). In this article, we verify these two conjectures when $k$ is small for large class of singularities.
