We give a block decomposition of the dg category of character sheaves on a simple and simply-connected complex reductive group G, similar to the one in generalized Springer correspondence. As a corollary, we identify the category of character sheaves on G as the category of quasi-coherent sheaves on an explicitly defined derived stack G^.

This research, initiated by a problem excerpted from Baidu, one of the most famous internet search engines in China, explores two types of movements, “converging curve” and “tracing curve” named by this research group, which really act in a regular pattern. In the research, by applying scores of mathematical methods, we found that the key to converging curves is to spot the invariant elements from the changeful motions. For tracing curves, we adopt estimating equations to get the solution. Due to the limit of time and the relevant knowledge of the research group, many unexpected problems constantly appeared which are quite far beyond our ability. Yet we still tried to apply some promising mathematical thoughts, and have achieved some exciting results. In the process of discovering and rediscovering, we did not succeed in finding a perfect solution to the problem. After all, as a group of middle school students fascinated by mathematics, creating and discovering more are the greatest delight of us all.

Sharp Lp affine isoperimetric inequalities are established for the entire class of Lp projection bodies and the entire class of Lp centroid bodies. These new inequalities strengthen the Lp Petty projection and the Lp Busemann–Petty centroid inequality.

In this article, we study local holomorphic isometric embeddings from Bn into BN1 × · · · × BNm with respect to the normalized Bergman metrics up to conformal factors. Assume that each conformal factor is smooth Nash algebraic. Then each component of the map is a multi-valued holomorphic map between complex Euclidean spaces by the algebraic extension theorem derived along the lines of Mok, and Mok and Ng. Applying holomorphic continuation and analyzing real analytic subvarieties carefully, we show that each component is either a constant map or a proper holomorphic map between balls. Applying a linearity criterion of Huang, we conclude the total geodesy of non-constant components.
