We characterize the indecomposable injective objects in the category of finitely presented representations of an interval finite quiver.

As we aim at alleviating the curse of high-dimensionality, subspace learning is becoming more popular. Existing approaches use either information about global or local structure of the data, and few studies simultaneously focus on global and local structures as the both of them contain important information. In this paper, we propose a global and local structure preserving sparse subspace learning (GLoSS) model for unsupervised feature selection. The model can simultaneously realize feature selection and subspace learning. In addition, we develop a greedy algorithm to establish a generic combinatorial model, and an iterative strategy based on an accelerated block coordinate descent is used to solve the GLoSS problem. We examine a few families of semistandard Young tableaux, for which we observe the cyclic sieving phenomenon under promotion. The first family we consider consists of stretched hook shapes, where we use the cocharge generating polynomial as CSP-polynomial. The second family contains skew shapes, consisting of disjoint rectangles. Again, the charge generating polynomial together with promotion exhibits the cyclic sieving phenomenon. This generalizes earlier results by B. Rhoades and later B. Fontaine and J. Kamnitzer. Finally, we consider certain skew ribbons, where promotion behaves in a predictable manner. This result is stated in the form of a bicyclic sieving phenomenon. One of the tools we use is a novel method for computing charge of skew semistandard tableaux, in the case when every number in the tableau occurs with the same frequency.

Let X be a compact connected strongly pseudoconvex CR Manifold of real dimension 2n.1 in Cn+1. Tanaka introduced a spec- tral sequence E(p,q) r (X) with E(p,q) 1 (X) being the Kohn-Rossi cohomology group and E(k,0) 2 (X) being the holomorphic De Rham cohomology denoted by Hk h(X). We study the holomorphic De Rham cohomology in terms of the s-invariant of the isolated sin- gularities of the variety V bounded by X. We give a characterization of the singularities with vanishing s-invariants. For n ≥ 3, Yau used the Kohn-Rossi cohomology groups to solve the classical complex Plateau problem in 1981. For n = 2, the problem has re- mained unsolved for over a quarter of a century. In this paper, we make progress in this direction by putting some conditions on X so that V will have very mild singularities. Specifically, we prove that if dimX = 3 and H2 h(X) = 0, then X is a boundary of complex variety V with only isolated quasi-homogeneous singularities such that the dual graphs of the exceptional sets in the resolution are star shaped and all curves are rational.
