For a certain distribution, the three problems of determining(i)optimum spacings of observations in linear estimation of location and scale parameters(ii)Optimum strata limits in proportionate sampling(iii)optimum interval boundaries in grouping a sample are closely related to each other.

This is the first part of the project toward proving the BCOV's Feynman graph sum formula of all genera Gromov-Witten invariants of quintic Calabi-Yau threefolds. In this paper, we introduce the notion of N-Mixed-Spin-P fields, construct their moduli spaces, their virtual cycles, their virtual localization formulas, and a vanishing result associated with irregular graphs.

Necessary conditions of optimality are derived for multiobjective optimal control problems with pathwise state constraints, in which the dynamics constrain is modeled as a differential inclusion. The obtained result extends results of [2] and [29].

For any n-dimensional smooth manifold $\Sigma$, we show that all the singularities of the mean curvature flow with any initial mean convex hypersurface in $\Sigma$ are cylindrical (of convex type) if the flow converges to a smooth hypersurface $M_\infty$ (maybe empty) at infinity. Previously this was shown (i) for n$\leq$7, and (ii) for arbitrary n up to the first singular time without the smooth condition on $M_\infty$.

This paper provides a rigorous proof of the existence of an infinite number of black hole solutions to the Einstein-Yang/Mills equations with gauge group<i>SU</i>(2), for any event horizon. It is also demonstrated that the ADM mass of each solutions is finite, and that the corresponding Einstein metric tends to the associated Schwarzschild metric at a rate 1/<i>r</i> ², as<i>r</i> tends to infinity.
