We propose the backward phase flow method to implement the FourierBrosIagolnitzer (FBI)-transform-based Eulerian Gaussian beam method for solving the Schrdinger equation in the semi-classical regime. The idea of Eulerian Gaussian beams has been first proposed in [12]. In this paper we aim at two crucial computational issues of the Eulerian Gaussian beam method: how to carry out long-time beam propagation and how to compute beam ingredients rapidly in phase space. By virtue of the FBI transform, we address the first issue by introducing the reinitialization strategy into the Eulerian Gaussian beam framework. Essentially we reinitialize beam propagation by applying the FBI transform to wavefields at intermediate time steps when the beams become too wide. Inspired by the quantum McKay correspondence, we consider the classical ADE Lie theory as a quantum theory over sl2. We introduce anti-symmetric characters for representations of quantum groups and investigate the Fourier duality to study the spectral theory. In the ADE Lie theory, there is a correspondence between the eigenvalues of the Coxeter element and the eigenvalues of the adjacency matrix. We formalize related notions and prove such a correspondence for representations of Verlinde algebras of quantum groups: this includes generalized Dynkin diagrams over any simple Lie algebra g at any level k. This answers a recent comment of Terry Gannon on an old question posed by Victor Kac in 1994.

We develop a global Poincar\'e residue formula to study period integrals of families of complex manifolds. For any compact complex manifold X equipped with a linear system V ∗ of generically smooth CY hypersurfaces, the formula expresses period integrals in terms of a canonical global meromorphic top form on X . Two important ingredients of our construction are the notion of a CY principal bundle, and a classification of such rank one bundles. We also generalize our construction to CY and general type complete intersections. When X is an algebraic manifold having a sufficiently large automorphism group G and V ∗ is a linear representation of G , we construct a holonomic D-module that governs the period integrals. The construction is based in part on the theory of tautological systems we have developed in the paper \cite{LSY1}, joint with R. Song. The approach allows us to explicitly describe a Picard-Fuchs type system for complete intersection varieties of general types, as well as CY, in any Fano variety, and in a homogeneous space in particular. In addition, the approach provides a new perspective of old examples such as CY complete intersections in a toric variety or partial flag variety.

We prove that the algebra of singular cochains on a smooth manifold, equipped with the cup product, is equivalent to the A1 structure on the Lagrangian Floer cochain group associated to the zero section in the cotangent bundle. More generally, given embeddings with isomorphic normal bundles of a closed manifold B into manifolds Q1 and Q2, we construct a differential graded category from the singular cochains of these spaces, and prove that it is equivalent to the A1 category obtained by considering exact Lagrangian embeddings of Q1 and Q2 which intersect cleanly along B.
