In this paper, we introduce a random particle blob method for the Keller-Segel equation (with dimension ) and establish a rigorous convergence analysis.

Classical two-dimensional Liouville gravity is often considered in conformal gauge which has a residual left and right Virasoro symmetry algebra. We consider an alternate, chiral, gauge which has a residual right Virasoro Kac-Moody algebra, and no left Virasoro algebra. The Kac-Moody zero mode is the left-moving energy. Dirac brackets of the constrained Hamiltonian theory are derived, and the residual symmetries are shown to be generated by integrals of the conserved chiral currents. The central charge and Kac-Moody level are computed. The possible existence of a corresponding quantum theory is discussed.

We prove global existence and a modified scattering property for the solutions of the 2D gravity water waves system in the infinite depth setting for a class of initial data, which is only required to be small above the level \dot{H}^{1/5}\times \dot{H}^{1/2+1/5}. No assumption is made below this level. Therefore, the nonlinear solution can have infinite energy. As a direct consequence, the momentum condition assumed on the physical velocity in all previous small energy results by Ionescu‐Pusateri, Alazard‐Delort, and Ifrim‐Tataru is removed.

The aim of this paper is to give a proof of the calculation of the flabby class group of a finite cyclic group due to Endo and Miyata [2]. In the next section I will recall the definition and some basic facts about this group. In the final section I will give some examples to show that the invertibility conditions used by Endo and Miyata cannot be removed. I would like to thank M.c. We study front speeds of curvature and strain G-equations arising in turbulent combustion. These G-equations are HamiltonJacobi type level set partial differential equations (PDEs) with non-coercive Hamiltonians and degenerate nonlinear second order diffusion. The Hamiltonian of a strain G-equation is also non-convex. Numerical computation is performed based on monotone discretization and weighted essentially nonoscillatory (WENO) approximation of transformed G-equations on a fixed periodic domain. The advection field in the computation is a two dimensional Hamiltonian flow consisting of a periodic array of counter-rotating vortices, or cellular flows. Depending on whether the evolution is predominantly in the hyperbolic or parabolic regimes, suitable explicit and semi-implicit time stepping methods are chosen. The turbulent flame speeds are computed as the linear growth rates of large time solutions. A
