This paper is concerned with the derivation and analysis of hydrodynamic models for systems of self-propelled particles subject to alignment interaction and attraction-repulsion. The starting point is the kinetic model considered in earlier work of Degond & Motsch with the addition of an attraction-repulsion interaction potential. Introducing different scalings than in Degond & Motsch, the non-local effects of the alignment and attraction-repulsion interactions can be kept in the hydrodynamic limit and result in extra pressure, viscosity terms and capillary force. The systems are shown to be symmetrizable hyperbolic systems with viscosity terms. A local-in-time existence result is proved in the 2D case for the viscous model and in the 3D case for the inviscid model. The proof relies on the energy method.

A two-dimensional chiral conformal field theory can be viewed mathematically as the representation theory of its chiral algebra, a vertex operator algebra. Vertex operator algebras are especially well suited for studying logarithmic conformal field theory (in which correlation functions have logarithmic singularities arising from non-semisimple modules for the chiral algebra) because of the logarithmic tensor category theory of Huang, Lepowsky, and Zhang. In this paper, we study not-necessarily-semisimple or rigid braided tensor categories C of modules for the fixed-point vertex operator subalgebra V^G of a vertex operator (super)algebra V with finite automorphism group G. The main results are that every V^G-module in C with a unital and associative V-action is a direct sum of g-twisted V-modules for possibly several g∈G, that the category of all such twisted V-modules is a braided G-crossed (super)category, and that the G-equivariantization of this braided G-crossed (super)category is braided tensor equivalent to the original category C of V^G-modules. This generalizes results of Kirillov and Müger proved using rigidity and semisimplicity. We also apply the main results to the orbifold rationality problem: whether V^G is strongly rational if V is strongly rational. We show that V^G is indeed strongly rational if V is strongly rational, G is any finite automorphism group, and V^G is C_2-cofinite.

Our paper begins with a simple but beautiful subject given by Martin Gardner (Dividing ten gold coins and ten silver coins into two containers which look the same outside, then randomly choose one of the containers and take out one coin from the chosen container, Is the probability of getting golden coin becomes higher when the distributive method changes). And we change and consider the problem from some other points of view. 1. Researching the original subject’s probability. 2. Discussing the minimal unit of distributing golden coins. 3. Researching the number of containers. 4. Researching the minimal and maximal probability of getting golden coin which is the function expression of containers’ number. As a result, we will understand the subject more deeply. The essence of the subject tells us: the reason of probability’s changing can not only be interpreted by “Sample Space difference and Sample Point difference”, but also “Classical Probability’s infection to Geometry Probability”. According to this theory, we can model this subject: Gold→A and Silver→not A. Then we use the model in our example, successfully interpreting what J·BERTRAND had found. And we also get a conjecture and prove it. Further, we did some transformation of the original formulation according to the actual situation. This is our paper’s main content.
