We show that if the graph of an analytic function in the unit disk$D$is not complete pluripolar in$C$^{2}then the projection of its pluripolar hull contains a fine neighborhood of a point $p\in\partial\mathbf{D}$ . Moreover the projection of the pluripolar hull is always finely open. On the other hand we show that if an analytic function$f$in$D$extends to a function ℱ which is defined on a fine neighborhood of a point $p\in\partial\mathbf{D}$ and is finely analytic at$p$then the pluripolar hull of the graph of$f$contains the graph of ℱ over a smaller fine neighborhood of$p$. We give several examples of functions with this property of fine analytic continuation. As a corollary we obtain new classes of analytic functions in the disk which have non-trivial pluripolar hulls, among them$C$^{∞}functions on the closed unit disk which are nowhere analytically extendible and have infinitely-sheeted pluripolar hulls. Previous examples of functions with non-trivial pluripolar hull of the graph have fine analytic continuation.

We introduce K-theoretic Gromov-Witten invariants of algebraic orbifold target spaces. Using the methods developed by Givental-Tonita we characterize Giventals Lagrangian cone of quantum K theory of orbifolds in terms of the cohomological cone.

1. Initial Data Set formulation The initial data set is given by (gij, pij) on a three dimensional manifold where gij is asymptotically euclidean (so that asymptotic quantities can be defined) and pij falls off quadratically. We also study the case when g^ is asymptotically hyperbolic and the three manifold is asymptotically null. Several important questions remain unsolved for the initial data set and its Cauchy development.

We carry out the programme of R. Liouville [19] to construct an explicit local obstruction to the existence of a Levi–Civita connection within a given projective structure [..] on a surface. The obstruction is of order 5 in the components of a connection in a projective class. It can be expressed as a point invariant for a second order ODE whose integral curves are the geodesics of [..] or as a weighted scalar projective invariant of the projective class. If the obstruction vanishes we find the sufficient conditions for the existence of a metric in the real analytic case. In the generic case they are expressed by the vanishing of two invariants of order 6 in the connection. In degenerate cases the sufficient obstruction is of order at most 8.
