We derive an asymptotic formula which counts the number of abelian extensions of prime degrees over rational function fields. Specifically, let l be a rational prime and K a rational function field F_q(t) with l\nmid q. Let Discf (F/K) denote the finite discriminant of F over K. Denote the number of abelian l-extensions F/K with deg (Discf (F/K)) = (l − 1)αn by a_l(n), where α = α(q, l) is the order of q in the multiplicative group (Z/lZ)^\times. We give a explicit asymptotic formula for a_l(n). In the case of cubic extensions with q ≡ 2 (mod 3), our formula gives an exact analogue of Cohn’s classical formula.

In Berenstein and Rupel (2015), the authors defined algebra homomorphisms from the dual Ringel-Hall algebra of certain hereditary abelian category \mathcal{A} to an appropriate q-polynomial algebra. In the case that \mathcal{A} is the representation category of an acyclic quiver, we give an alternative proof by using the cluster multiplication formulas in (Ding and Xu, Sci. China Math. 55(10) 2045–2066, 2012). Moreover, if the underlying graph of Q associated with \mathcal{A} is bipartite and the matrix B associated to the quiver Q is of full rank, we show that the image of the algebra homomorphism is in the corresponding quantum cluster algebra.

In this paper, we introduce a motivic version of To¨en’s derived Hall algebra. Then we point out that the two kinds of Hall algebras in the sense of To¨en and Kontsevich–Soibelman, respectively, are Drinfeld dual pairs, not only in the classical case (by counting over finite fields) but also in the motivic version. Consequently they are canonically isomorphic. All proofs, including that for the most important associative property, are deduced in a self-contained way by analyzing the symmetry properties around the octahedral axiom, a method we used previously

In this paper, we generalize the categorifical construction of a quantum group and its canonical basis by Lusztig (\cite{Lusztig,Lusztig2}) to the generic form of whole Ringel-Hall algebra. We clarify the explicit relation between the Green formula in \cite{Green} and the restriction functor in \cite{Lusztig2}. By a geometric way to prove Green formula, we show that the Hopf structure of a Ringel-Hall algebra can be categorified under Lusztig's framework.

We study the modularity of the genus zero open Gromov-Witten potentials and its generating matrix factorizations for elliptic orbifolds. These objects constructed by Lagrangian Floer theory are a priori well-defined only around the large volume limit. It follows from modularity that they can be analytically continued over the global Kähler moduli space.
