We develop mathematical models describing the evolution of stochastic age-structured populations. After reviewing existing approaches, we formulate a complete kinetic framework for age-structured interacting populations undergoing birth, death and fission processes in spatially dependent environments. We define the full probability density for the population-size age chart and find results under specific conditions. Connections with more classical models are also explicitly derived. In particular, we show that factorial moments for non-interacting processes are described by a natural generalization of the McKendrick-von Foerster equation, which describes mean-field deterministic behavior. Our approach utilizes mixed-type, multidimensional probability distributions similar to those employed in the study of gas kinetics and with terms that satisfy BBGKY-like equation hierarchies.

In this paper we prove that any immersed stable capillary hypersurfaces in a ball in space forms are totally umbilical. %either a totally geodesic disk or a spherical cap. Our result also provides a proof of a conjecture proposed by Sternberg-Zumbrun in {\it J Reine Angew Math 503 (1998), 63--85}. We also prove a Heintze-Karcher-Ros type inequality for hypersurfaces with free boundary in a ball, which, together with the new Minkowski formula, yields a new proof of Alexandrov's Theorem for embedded CMC hypersurfaces in a ball with free boundary.

We consider the quantum cluster algebras which are injective-reachable and introduce a triangular basis in every seed. We prove that, under some initial conditions, there exists a unique common triangular basis with respect to all seeds. This basis is parametrized by tropical points as expected in the Fock-Goncharov conjecture. As an application, we prove the existence of the common triangular bases for the quantum cluster algebras arising from representations of quantum affine algebras and partially for those arising from quantum unipotent subgroups. This result implies monoidal categorification conjectures of Hernandez-Leclerc and Fomin-Zelevinsky in the corresponding cases: all cluster monomials correspond to simple modules.
