Building on [BB1] we prove a general criterion for convergence of (possibly singular) Bergman measures towards pluripotential-theoretic equilibrium measures on complex manifolds. The criterion may be formulated in terms of the growth properties of the unit-balls of certain norms on holomorphic sections, or equivalently as an asymptotic minimization property for generalized Donaldson$L$-functionals. Our result settles in particular a well-known conjecture in pluripotential theory concerning the equidistribution of Fekete points and it gives the convergence of Bergman measures towards the equilibrium measure for Bernstein-Markov measures. Applications to interpolation of holomorphic sections are also discussed.

In this paper, we develop a three-dimensional parallel solver using the fifth order high-resolution weighted essentially non-oscillatory (WENO) finite difference scheme to perform extensive simulation for three-dimensional gaseousdetonations. A careful study is conducted for the propagation modes of three-dimensional gaseous detonation wave-front structures in a long square duct. The numerical results indicate that, the instability of detonation, overdrive factor, transverse dimension and initial perturbation are the main factors that influence the appearance of spinning detonation.

In this paper, we construct some unirational Calabi–Yau threefolds in characteristic 3. We adopt the method by Schoen, but we use quasi-elliptic surfaces instead of elliptic surfaces. We find new examples which do not admit a lifting to characteristic zero.

We derive an asymptotic formula which counts the number of abelian extensions of prime degrees over rational function fields. Specifically, let l be a rational prime and K a rational function field F_q(t) with l\nmid q. Let Discf (F/K) denote the finite discriminant of F over K. Denote the number of abelian l-extensions F/K with deg (Discf (F/K)) = (l − 1)αn by a_l(n), where α = α(q, l) is the order of q in the multiplicative group (Z/lZ)^\times. We give a explicit asymptotic formula for a_l(n). In the case of cubic extensions with q ≡ 2 (mod 3), our formula gives an exact analogue of Cohn’s classical formula.
