We present novel algorithms for compressible flows that\n\nare efficient for all Mach numbers. The approach is based on several\n\ningredients: semi-implicit schemes, the gauge decomposition\n\nof the velocity field and a second order formulation of the density\n\nequation (in the isentropic case) and of the energy equation (in\n\nthe full Navier-Stokes case). Additionally, we show that our approach\n\ncorresponds to a micro-macro decomposition of the model,\n\nwhere the macro field corresponds to the incompressible component\n\nsatisfying a perturbed low Mach number limit equation and\n\nthe micro field is the potential component of the velocity. Finally,\n\nwe also use the conservative variables in order to obtain a proper\n\nconservative formulation of the equations when the Mach number\n\nis order unity. We successively consider the isentropic case, the\n\nfull Navier-Stokes case, and the isentropic Navier-Stokes-Poisson\n\ncase. In this work, we only concentrate on the question of the\n\ntime discretization and show that the proposed method leads to\n\nAsymptotic Preserving schemes for compressible flows in the low\n\nMach number limit.

Homological Projective duality (HP-duality) theory, introduced by Kuznetsov \cite{Kuz07HPD}, is one of the most powerful frameworks in the homological study of algebraic geometry. The main result (HP-duality theorem) of the theory gives complete descriptions of bounded derived categories of coherent sheaves of (dual) linear sections of HP-dual varieties. We show the theorem also holds for more general intersections beyond linear sections. More explicitly, for a given HP-dual pair $(X,Y)$, then analogue of HP-duality theorem holds for their intersections with another HP-dual pair $(S,T)$, provided that they intersect properly. We also prove a relative version of our main result. Taking $(S,T)$ to be dual linear subspaces (resp. subbundles), our method provides a more direct proof of the original (relative) HP-duality theorem.

For a fractal Schrodinger operator with a continuous potential and a coupling parameter, we obtain an analog of a semi-classical asymptotic formula for the number of bound states as the parameter tends to infinity. We also study Bohr's formula for Schrodinger operators on blowups of self-similar sets. For a Schrodinger operator defined by a fractal measure and a locally bounded potential that tends to infinity, we derive an analog of Bohr's formula under various assumptions. We demonstrate how these results can be applied to self-similar measures with overlaps, including the infinite Bernoulli convolution associated with the golden ratio, a family of convolutions of Cantor-type measures, and a family of measures that we call essentially of finite type.

Recently, Tsai-Tseng-Yau constructed new invariants of symplectic manifolds: a sequence of A-infinity algebras built of differential forms on the symplectic manifold. We show that these symplectic A-infinity algebras have a simple topological interpretation. Namely, when the cohomology class of the symplectic form is integral, these A-infinity algebras are equivalent to the standard de Rham differential graded algebra on certain odd dimensional sphere bundles over the symplectic manifold. From this equivalence, we deduce for a closed symplectic manifold that Tsai-Tseng-Yau's symplectic A-infinity algebras satisfy the Calabi-Yau property, and importantly, that they can be used to define an intersection theory for coisotropic/isotropic chains. We further demonstrate that these symplectic A-infinity algebras satisfy several functorial properties and lay the groundwork for addressing Weinstein functoriality and invariance in the smooth category.
