Let$d$be a positive integer, $A={\mathbb{C}} [t_{1}^{\pm1},\ldots ,t_{d}^{\pm1}]$ be the Laurent polynomial algebra, and $W=\operatorname{Der} (A)$ be the derivation Lie algebra of$A$. Then we have the semidirect product Lie algebra$W$⋉$A$which we call the extended Witt algebra of rank$d$. In this paper, we classify all irreducible Harish-Chandra modules over$W$⋉$A$with nontrivial action of$A$.

We solve the entanglement classification under stochastic local operations and classical communication (SLOCC) for general n-qubit states. For two arbitrary pure n-qubit states connected via local operations, we establish an equation between the two coefficient matrices associated with the states. The rank of the coefficient matrix is preserved under SLOCC and gives rise to a simple way of partitioning all the pure states of n qubits into different families of entanglement classes, as exemplified here. When applied to the symmetric states, this approach reveals that all the Dicke states |l,n> with l=1,..., [n/2] are inequivalent under SLOCC.

Homology theory relative to classes of objects other than those of projective or injective objects in abelian categories has been widely studied in the last years, giving a special relevance to Gorenstein homological algebra. We prove the existence of Gorenstein flat precovers in any locally finitely presented Grothendieck category in which the class of flat objects is closed under extensions, the existence of Gorenstein injective preenvelopes in any locally noetherian Grothendieck category in which the class of all Gorenstein injective objects is closed under direct products, and the existence of special Gorenstein injective preenvelopes in locally noetherian Grothendieck categories with a generator lying in the left orthogonal class to that of Gorenstein injective objects.
