In this paper we study the stochastic Galerkin approximation for the linear transport equation with random inputs and diffusive scal- ing. We first establish uniform (in the Knudsen number) stability results in the random space for the transport equation with uncertain scattering coefficients, and then prove the uniform spectral conver- gence (and consequently the sharp stochastic Asymptotic-Preserving property) of the stochastic Galerkin method. A micro-macro decom- position based fully discrete scheme is adopted for the problem and proved to have a uniform stability. Numerical experiments are conducted to demonstrate the stability and asymptotic properties of the method.

We establish a boundary maximum principle for free boundary minimal submanifolds in a Riemannian manifold with boundary, in any dimension and codimension. Our result holds more generally in the context of varifolds.

Dijkstra and Bellman-ford are the two basic methods to solve Single-source shortest paths problem，and SPFA is the optimized version of Bellman-ford. However, since the algorithm time complexity is 0 (kn), SPFA’s time efficiency has some instabilities. This paper will compare the time efficiency between Dijkstra optimized with heap and three kinds of SPFA in different density graphs. Meanwhile, random data is created to test optimized Dijkstra and 3 types of SPFA. Finally, according to the calculation result of two methods’ time efficiency, some suggestion is given for their application under different situation.

We show that the exterior derivative operator on a symplectic manifold has a natural decomposition into two linear differential operators, analogous to the Dolbeault operators in complex geometry. These operators map primitive forms into primitive forms and therefore lead directly to the construction of primitive cohomologies on symplectic manifolds. Using these operators, we introduce new primitive cohomologies that are analogous to the Dolbeault cohomology in the complex theory. Interestingly, the finiteness of these primitive cohomologies follows directly from an elliptic complex. We calculate the known primitive cohomologies on a nilmanifold and show that their dimensions can vary with the class of the symplectic form.
