The dimension datum of a subgroup of a compact Lie group is a piece of spectral information about that subgroup. We find some new invariants and phenomena of the dimension data and apply them to construct the first example of a pair of isospectral, simply connected closed Riemannian manifolds which are of different homotopy types. We also answer questions proposed by Langlands.

In this paper, we derive Li-Yau inequality for unbounded Laplacian on complete weighted graphs with the assumption of the curvature dimension inequality C D E(n, K), which can be regarded as a notion of curvature on graphs. Furthermore, we obtain some applications of Li-Yau inequality, including Harnack inequality, heat kernel bounds and Cheng's eigenvalue estimate. These are the first kind of results in this direction for unbounded Laplacian on graphs.

By using variational method and under generic condition, we show that Arnold diffusion exists in a priori hyperbolic and timeperiodic Hamiltonian systems with multiple degrees of freedom.

We give a natural filtration F on QH(G/B), which respects the quantum product structure. Its associated graded algebra GrF(QH(G/B)) is isomorphic to the tensor product of QH(G/P) and a corresponding graded algebra of QH(P/B) after localization. When the quantum parameter goes to zero, this specializes to the filtration on H(G/B) from the Leray spectral sequence associated to the fibration P/B ! G/B −! G/P.

Mean curvature ows of hypersurfaces have been extensively studied and there are various dierent approaches and many beautiful results. However, relatively little is known about mean curvature ows of submanifolds of higher codimensions. This notes starts with some basic materials on submanifold geometry, and then introduces mean curvature ows in general dimensions and co-dimensions. The related techniques in the so called \blow-up" analysis are also discussed. At the end, we present some global existence and convergence results for mean curvature ows of two-dimensional surfaces in four-dimensional ambient spaces.
