Assume as well that, for every prime$q$, $${f(x)\not\equiv 0}$$ mod$q$^{2}has at least one solution in $${(\mathbb{Z}/q^2 \mathbb{Z})^*}$$ . Then, under these two necessary conditions, there are infinitely many primes$p$such that$f$($p$) is square-free.

The Colmez conjecture is a formula expressing the Faltings height of an abelian variety with complex multiplication in terms of some linear combination of logarithmic derivatives of Artin L-functions. The aim of this paper to prove an averaged version of the conjecture, which was also proposed by Colmez.

We investigate meromorphic quasi-modular forms and their L-functions. We study the space of meromorphic quasi-modular forms and Rankin–Cohen brackets of meromorphic modular forms. Then we define their L-functions by using multiple techniques of regularized integral. Explicit formulas for the L-functions are given.

Theorem. Let $\pi$ be a finite group of order $n$, $R$ be a Dedekind domain satisfying that (i) $\fn{char}R=0$, (ii) every prime divisor of $n$ is not invertible in $R$, and (iii) $p$ is unramified in $R$ for any prime divisor $p$ of $n$. Then all the flabby (resp.\ coflabby) $R\pi$-lattices are invertible if and only if all the Sylow subgroups of $\pi$ are cyclic. The above theorem was proved by Endo and Miyata when $R=\bm{Z}$ \cite[Theorem 1.5]{EM}. As applications of this theorem, we give a short proof and a partial generalization of a result of Torrecillas and Weigel \cite[Theorem A]{TW}, which was proved using cohomological Mackey functors.
