We show that theMöbius function is disjoint to every analytic skew product dynamical system on T2 over a rotation of the circle.

If 𝑈:[0,+∞[×𝑀 is a uniformly continuous viscosity solution of the evolution Hamilton-Jacobi equation ∂_𝑡𝑈+𝐻(𝑥,∂_𝑥 𝑈)=0, where 𝑀 is a not necessarily compact manifold, and 𝐻 is a Tonelli Hamiltonian, we prove the set Σ(𝑈), of points in ]0,+∞[×𝑀 where 𝑈 is not differentiable, is locally contractible. Moreover, we study the homotopy type of Σ(𝑈). We also give an application to the singularities of the distance function to a closed subset of a complete Riemannian manifold.

We study possible values of the global dimension of endomorphism algebras of 2-term silting complexes. We show that for any algebra A whose global dimension gl.dim A ≤ 2 and any 2-term silting complex P in the bounded derived category D^b(A) of A, the global dimension of End_{D^b(A)}(P) is at most 7. We also show that for each n > 2, there is an algebra A with gl.dim A = n such that D^b(A) admits a 2-term silting complex P with gl.dim End_{D^b(A)}(P) infinite.
