We establish a general Kronecker limit formula of arbitrary rank over global function fields with Drinfeld period domains playing the role of upper-half plane. The Drinfeld-Siegel units come up as equal characteristic modular forms replacing the classical $\Delta$. This leads to analytic means of deriving a Colmez-type formula for "stable Taguchi height" of CM Drinfeld modules having arbitrary rank. A Lerch-Type formula for "totally real" function fields is also obtained, with the Heegner cycle on the Bruhat-Tits buildings intervene. Also our limit formula is naturally applied to the special values of both the Rankin-Selberg L-functions and the Godement-Jacquet L-functions associated to automorphic cuspidal representations over global function fields.

We consider the flow of closed convex hypersurfaces in Euclidean space R^{n+1} with speed given by a power of the k-th mean curvature E_k plus a global term chosen to impose a constraint involving the enclosed volume V_{n+1} and the mixed volume V_{n+1−k} of the evolving hypersurface. We prove that if the initial hypersurface is strictly convex, then the solution of the flow exists for all time and converges to a round sphere smoothly. No curvature pinching assumption is required on the initial hypersurface.

Let X be a smooth, projective, geometrically connected curve over a finite field Fq, and let G be a split semisimple algebraic group over Fq. Its dual group Gˆ is a split reductive group over Z. Conjecturally, any l-adic Gˆ-local system on X (equivalently, any conjugacy class of continuous homomorphisms π1(X)→Gˆ(Q¯¯¯¯l)) should be associated with an everywhere unramified automorphic representation of the group G. We show that for any homomorphism π1(X)→Gˆ(Q¯¯¯¯l) of Zariski dense image, there exists a finite Galois cover Y→X over which the associated local system becomes automorphic.

Homology theory relative to classes of objects other than those of projective or injective objects in abelian categories has been widely studied in the last years, giving a special relevance to Gorenstein homological algebra. We prove the existence of Gorenstein flat precovers in any locally finitely presented Grothendieck category in which the class of flat objects is closed under extensions, the existence of Gorenstein injective preenvelopes in any locally noetherian Grothendieck category in which the class of all Gorenstein injective objects is closed under direct products, and the existence of special Gorenstein injective preenvelopes in locally noetherian Grothendieck categories with a generator lying in the left orthogonal class to that of Gorenstein injective objects.

We prove several formulas related to Hodge theory and theKodaira– Spencer–Kuranishi deformation theory of Kähler manifolds. As applications, wepresent a construction of globally convergent power series of integrableBeltrami differentials on Calabi–Yau manifolds and also a construction of global canonical family of holomorphic (n, 0)-forms on the deformation spaces of Calabi–Yau manifolds. Similar constructions are also applied to the deformation spaces of compact Kähler manifolds.
