The purpose of this paper is to construct two superimposed optimization methods for solving the mixed equilibrium problem and variational inclusion. We show that the proposed superimposed methods converge strongly to a solution of some optimization problem. Note that our methods do not involve any projection.

In this paper, we obtain several new continuous selection theorems for multi-valued mappings on completely regular spaces and fixed point theorems for multi-valued maps on nonmetrizable spaces. They, in particular, provide a partial solution of a conjecture of X. Wu.

Let X be a locally compact Hausdorff space, and T be a disjointness preserving bounded linear operator on C0 (X). We give a sufficient and necessary condition of T being power compact. Moreover, a description of eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of T is given.

We obtain the existence and uniqueness of solutions for a class of retarded parabolic equations with superlinear perturbations. The asymptotic behavior result is studied by using the pullback attractor framework.
