Let $ f : \sum_1 \to \sum_2$ be a map between compact Riemannian manifolds of constant curvature. This article considers the evolution of the graph of f in $\sum_1 \times \sum_2$2 by the mean curvature flow. Under suitable conditions on the curvature of $\sum_1$ and $\sum_2$ and the differential of the initial map, we show that the flow exists smoothly for all time. At each instant $t$, the flow remains the graph of a map $f_t$ and $f_t$ converges to a constant map as $t$ approaches infinity. This also provides a regularity estimate for Lipschtz initial data.

LetMbe a compact Riemannian manifold of dimension n > 2. The k-curvature, for k = 1, 2, . . . , n, is defined as the k-th ele- mentary symmetric polynomial of the eigenvalues of the Schouten tenser. The k-Yamabe problem is to prove the existence of a con- formal metric whose k-curvature is a constant. When k = 1, it reduces to the well-known Yamabe problem. Under the assumption that the metric is admissible, the existence of solutions is known for the case k = 2, n = 4, for locally conformally flat manifolds and for the cases k > n/2. In this paper we prove the solvability of the k-Yamabe problem in the remaining cases k ≤ n/2, under the hypothesis that the problem is variational. This includes all of the cases k = 2 as well as the locally conformally flat case.

Recently, the duals of Federer’s curvature measures, called dual curvature measures, were discovered by Huang, Lutwak, Yang & Zhang (ACTA, 2016). In the same paper, they posed the dual Minkowski problem, the characterization problem for dual curvature measures, and proved existence results when the index, q, is in (0,n). The dual Minkowski problem includes the Aleksandrov problem (q = 0) and the logarithmic Minkowski problem (q = n) as special cases. In the current work, a complete solution to the dual Minkowski problem whenever q < 0, including both existence and uniqueness, is presented.

Poisson equation on point cloud with Dirichlet boundary condition plays important role in many problems. In this paper, we use the volume constraint proposed by Du et.al to handle the Dirichlet boundary condition in the point integral method for Poisson equation on point cloud. We prove that the solution given by volume constraint converges to the true solution as the point cloud converges to the underlying smooth manifold.
