On Shimura varieties of orthogonal type over totally real fields, we prove a product formula and the modularity of Kudla’s generating series of special cycles in Chow groups.

Following the method developed by Waldspurger and Beuzart-Plessis in their proof of the local Gan-Gross-Prasad conjecture, we prove a local trace formula for the Ginzburg-Rallis model. By applying this trace formula, we prove the multiplicity one theorem for the Ginzburg-Rallis model over the tempered Vogan L-packets. In some cases, we also prove the epsilon dichotomy conjecture which gives a relation between the multiplicity and the exterior cube epsilon factor. This is a sequel work of [Wan15] in which we proved the geometric side of the trace formula.

We study the structures of Fourier coefficients of automorphic forms on symplectic groups based on their local and global structures related to Arthur parameters. This is a first step towards the general conjecture on the relation between the structure of Fourier coefficients and Arthur parameters for automorphic forms occurring in the discrete spectrum, given by the first named author.

We introduce a new technique for isolating components on the spectral side of the trace formula. By applying it to the Jacquet--Rallis relative trace formula, we complete the proof of the global Gan--Gross--Prasad conjecture and its refinement Ichino--Ikeda conjecture for U(n)×U(n+1) in the stablecase.
