For a symmetrizable Kac-Moody Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$, Lusztig introduced the corresponding modified quantized enveloping algebra $\dot{\textbf{U}}$ and its canonical basis $\dot{\textbf{B}}$ in [13]. In this paper, in case $\mathfrak{g}$ is a symmetric Kac-Moody Lie algebra of finite or affine type, we define a set $\tilde{\mathcal{M}}$ which depends only on the root category $\mathcal{R}$ and prove that there is a bijection between $\tilde{\mathcal{M}}$ and $\dot{\textbf{B}}$, where $\mathcal{R}$ is the $T^2$-orbit category of the bounded derived category of corresponding Dynkin or tame quiver. Our method is based on a result of Lin, Xiao and Zhang in [10], which gives a PBW-type basis of $\textbf{U}^+$.

We study the positive representations Pλ of split real quantum groups Uqq (gℝ) restricted to the Borel subalgebra Uqq (bℝ). We prove that the restriction is independent of the parameter λ. Furthermore, we prove that it can be constructed from the GNS-representation of the multiplier Hopf algebra UqqC ∗ (b ℝ) defined earlier, which allows us to decompose their tensor product using the theory of the “multiplicative unitary”. In particular, the quantum mutation operator can be constructed from the multiplicity module, which will be an essential ingredient in the construction of quantum higher Teichmüller theory from the perspective of representation theory, generalizing earlier work by Frenkel-Kim.

Let e be an arbitrary even nilpotent element in the general linear Lie super- algebra glM|N and let We be the associated finite W-superalgebra. Let Ym|n be the super Yangian associated to the Lie superalgebra glm|n. A subalgebra of Ym|n, called the shifted super Yangian and denoted by Ym|n(σ), is defined and studied. Moreover, an explicit iso- morphism between We and a quotient of Ym|n(σ) is established.

Bisch and Jones proposed the classification of planar algebras by simple generators and relations. They investigated with the second author the classification of planar algebras generated by 2-boxes. In this paper, we classify singly-generated Thurston-relation planar algebras, defined as subfactor planar algebras generated by a 3-box satisfying a relation proposed by Dylan Thurston. Our main result shows that such subfactor planar algebras are either the E6 subfactor planar algebras or belong to a two-parameter family of planar algebras arising from the representations of type A quantum groups. We introduce a new method for determining positivity of the Markov trace of planar algebras in this family.

In this article, we classify all standard invariants that can arise from a composed inclusion of an A3with an A4subfactor. More precisely, if N⊂P is an A3subfactor and P⊂M is an A4subfactor, then only four standard invariants can arise from the composed inclusion N⊂M. We answer a question posed by Bisch and Haagerup in 1994. The techniques of this paper also show that there are exactly four standard invariants for the composed inclusion of two A4subfactors.
